Hi,
I created a logo and some text by using Photoshop 7.0 (PC) and it contains transparent background. I try to import this "file" to QuarkXpress 5.0 (PC as well) and lay it on top to another solid color background, which created in QuarkXpress, however the "file" becomes a WHITE background. When I print it out, there is a WHITE BOX around my logo.
My question is…
1. I saved into "Photoshop eps" format. Does eps support transparent? How comes it turns into white background in QuarkXpress?
2. I can’t use "Runaround" feature in QuarkXpress, because there are some fine print. Is there any other way to solve my problem, please suggest.
3. What is the other file format can support transparent in QuarkXpress? And what is the difference between Photoshop eps format, Photoshop DCS 1.0 eps and Photoshop DCS 2.0 eps?
Thanks so much.
