Hi Liv Marit,
I knew already that people from northern Europe are not exceptionally loquacious. Anyhow, it might have been helpful if you’d stated what is wrong with the picture you want to fix. If you scanned it and got moire, there were former threads in this group and several tuts on the web on how to get rid of it.

http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/photoshop/ht/apsremovemoire .htm

is just the first one which pops up on a google search for photoshop and moire.
If this does’n solve your problem, come back here and give some details on what exactly is wrong with the picture

There are a number of techniques for minimizing the dot pattern from a scanned halftone image.

The easiest is to see if your scanner software has a "descreen" option. If it does, this is probably your easiest solution.

A second method is described by Dan Margulis in an early edition of his Professional Photoshop book. Here’s how I remember it:
1) duplicating the image to a new layer,
2) blurring the top layer enough to make the smallest dots invisible,
3) applying dust and scratches to the bottom layer to remove the smallest
dots,
4) setting the mode of the top layer to darken.
