Document Window "Stacking" when clicking on Tile in CS

Recently upgraded to PS CS from PS 7. When working with two images in CS and using "tile" feature, the document windows stack, one above the other, rather than opening side by side, edge to edge. Can’t find any way to make them open side by side. Have to drag and resize them to put them side by side. Irritating and time consuming. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions? Thanks.
