I want to do the follwing two operation to a batch of opened files: change the colour to CMKY
change the channel size to 8 bits per channel
Is it possible to do these in batch editing? How?
I’ve noticed that they do not appear in the batch editing option. Can I add these operation to this list of options?

Create an action that does this, then you can use the Automate->Batch feaure, converting all files in one folder. Also, better than converting to CMYK is using Convert to Profile.

Create an action with all the steps you want, then select that action in the Batch action dialog box.
