Each time I exit my Photoshop Elements 3.1 (Windows), I get this message: The instruction at "0x23461be9" referenced memory at "0x23ad9e0c". Memory could not be referenced.

I have a Dell Dimension 4400, Pentium 4, 1.99 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Windows XP

SP2.

check out http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic8913.html … the guy has a similar (esentually the same) problem. I would try fixing problems with your RAM first. If your not afraid of your computer’s insides I would take out the RAM chips, rub them with alcohol, and put them back. Also, there are programs that make more room in your RAM (kinda like defraging a harddrive) these programs will often fix "bad" portions of you RAM (which may be the problem). Memtest86 is a program one person recomends.
