Hi,

I was working in Photoshop and accidentally hit some key combination and now I have a color problem. When I sample a color with the dropper, then try to apply it to another area, the color is lighter than what was sampled. The color in the toolbox area is right, but when I apply it it’s lighter. I also should mention that I’m working with a layer mask. Anyone know what I did?

Thanks,

JA

Make sure your Layer and Fill Opacity is set to 100%, Layer Blending "Normal."

Likewise, make sure that whichever tools you try using to apply the color are set to 100%, and blending mode to "Normal."

You probably hit a key combo that changed one of these.

Please see the Quick Reference card or PDF for more info.

Do you have a CMYK preview turned on?
