Can anyone please help with this? I’ve spent hours trying to sort it with no progress whatever.
Windows XPSP2
Photoshop CS install
Stops at about 98% completed with this message
"Unhandled Exception
Error No 0x80040702
Failed to load DLL: C Map File Info"

Might not be much help, but I encountered similar message, when I had set a network drive to "map," and it was not logged on to the network at that moment. If this is referring to a non-network C: (like your boot disk), then I cannot image that network drive mapping would be your problem, unless, you happen to have accidnetly set your boot to "Map" in your network settings.

That usually means that the installer or your system are corrupt. Contact Adobe for help with the installer and possibly a replacement CD.
