Hi,

I have a series of photo effects that are recorded into an action in photoshop. Is there a way to apply this action to each frame in a video clip (.avi) ?

Thanks

Hi there,

If you have a copy of Premiere handy, you can export a smallish clip from an avi in ‘filmstrip’ format. This will basically give you a large picture with each frame of the avi set in a column. You can then apply your action, save it (also as filmstrip) and import back into premiere. If you have a long avi file (more than a few seconds) the filmstrip file can get quite large so you may have to do this in several chunks.

Other than that, some plugins can be used in video editing software, which is what your really after. Editing film in photoshop is rather limited!

Hope this helps,
