PS CS: Error when trying to open a PSD v7.0 with complex styles in CS

Hello,

I have a big problem:

I cannot open some of my "old" Photoshop files (done in PS7) in CS. It seems only to occurs with files containing layers with "complex" styles attached.

The files are not corrupted because I can open them in PS7, ACDSee, Illustrator 10 without problem.

ps: I think Adobe’s salesmen have to think about their current policy. Stop releasing a new photoshop so often, take more time for beta-testing because who are tired to pay very high prices for not working softwares! (in cs case, it’s slow and buggy … on P4 HT 3.0 with 2 Go of DDR400 and SATA disks)

try resetting the prefrences per the faq.

have a workaround : have deleted the preference folder

the image opens !!!!

have edited my preferences (one item then open, an another one and open, etc…)

It seems the error occurs when i change the cache level value.
