Does embeding ICC profiles in JPG files (save for web) increase the JPG file size? Or does it just adjust the saved JPG colors?

I’m using Photoshop CS.

Allen,

Embedding any ICC profile will increase the file size.

Photoshop working spaces such sRGB, Adobe RGB, ColorMatch, etc are around 4KB. "Table based" ICC profiles such as those created for printers, scanners, digital cameras can be up to 1.5MB (some bigger)

BTW: most of your posts today have been on the same subject; it might have been better to keep them in one thread.

An embedded profile increases the size, Allen, and is only of ANY benefit to Mac users with certain browsers.
