I’m hoping somebody might assist?

I use Photoshop 7.0 in a very limited capacity.

I’ve somehow changed the displayed tools in the left column from default. Tried resetting to default with no success.

Previously in the top left corner of the tool box, there was a square for selection (which I desire and use for cropping images extensively.)

Currently there is a round Lasso.

Toyed with plenty of options to get the square back with no success

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

A look through the first couple chapters of the manual or Help can save a lot of trouble down the road.At least you get a handle on the basic workspace and tools.

All tools with a tiny black arrow in the lower right corner have "fly-outs" with other versions of the tool or similarly related tools. Pressing SHFT and the keyboard shortcut for the tool will cycle through [most of] the fly-out choices.

Peadge 🙂
