I’m running Win2K Pro and PS 6.0.1. When I select levels either by shortcut or through the meunus, the eyedropper tool is selected instead. Also, when I double click a layer to get the layer style pallete I get the hand tool instead. These errors appeared after uninstalling Norton and toubleshooting a permissions error 1926 on the Config.Msi file. Any suggestions how to correct this?

Thanks… Jon

These options palettes are off the screen.
These are the normal tools that come up if you’re off the palette. Been using two monitors, or we’re you running at a higher rez on single monitor for awhile?
You can try changing to highest rez your video can do and moving palettes back into bounds or try Reset Palette Locations.

if going to the highest res doesn’t allow you to grab the dialog boxes, you’ll need to reset your prefrences per the procedure in the faq.
