I have some font files, called adobe wood type, with endings .AFM and
.PFB.
After reinstalling everything, I am not sure how to get these fonts into Photoshop (6.01).
Anyone knows how to do this?

Get Adobe Type Manager or any other Type Manager that supports Type1. FontNav from Bitstream is a pretty nice one. Also, you seem to be missing a file there… Something with .PFM extension.
