Open Recent problem

I have developed a problem with my "Open Recent" command. When I use it, the list is current. Selecting an item does nothing but close the dialogue box. I don’t know when this started, but the only changes I’ve made is to Upgrade Painter 8 to Painter 8.01. Has anyone else experienced this? Mine is a PC with 2.4GHz P4 CPU, 1GB RAM, 80GB HD and a nVida GeForce video chipset. Thank you!

Karl,

Pretty sure your PS preferences are corrupt. Reset them. See the FAQ on top of this forum as to how to do that.

Thanks Rob, but it didn’t work. It’s strange, because it seems to occur the second time PS7 is started after resetting the preferences file. It is not a big problem, but the "Open Recent" command IS convenient…
