I’m sorry if this is a rediculously inane question….

I’m aware of the History option, but…

Is it possible to change the number of Undo’s in CS?
i.e. Undo, Undo, Undo would backtrack through the History

Thanks.

CTRL+ALT+Z moves back through History, CTRL+SHFT+Z moves forward. Be sure to check your Preference setting for the number of desired History states. The higher the number, the more memory it eats, and the greater the chance of sluggishness.

Yes, that’s the history number in preferences. If you set it very high, you soak up memory but you can purge from time to time if you are comfortable with your current state.

Got to Edit > Preferences > General, and then change the number in "History States:".

In the Mac version of PSE 3.0 — the default undo setting in Preferences is 50 (up from the old 20).

And don’t forget you can save snapshots too.
