PhotoShop 7.0 and "Primary paging file"

Hi! I purchased PhotoShop 7.0 today and after installation, I got the following message shown at : <http://www.sheencal.com/Message.gif>

Has anyone received this messgae before? If so, what do u do to make/optimize PhotoShop’s performance?

EVERYONE receives that message the first time they run it. If you only have one harddrive ignore it. There’s nothing you can do. If you have a second harddrive, set the scratch file there in your preferences.

I’ll second that one.

We have the scratch set up on a second hard drive … if we have a PC used primarily for Photoshop we’ll go so far as to put in an extra drive (even as small as 2Gb) purely for this purpose as it will offer a slight increase in performance,
