I’ve just installed my upgrade to CS. I want to transfer all of my actions to the new prog. However, although I have 35 actions showing in 7 it only shows 29 of them when I click on the side actions menu. Where are the rest? Help!

Brian:

If you haven’t yet, copy the .atn files from:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Photoshop Actions to the same folder in the CS file tree.

Another approach would be to identify the Action Sets in PS 7 you’re not seeing in PS CS and perform Save Actions… on each of them, placing the .atn filess in CS\Presets\Photoshop Actions

Regardless of which method you use you will need to shutdown and restart Photoshop before the actions show up in the Actions Palette Menu.

Does this help?

Only copy the ones you’ve saved or downloaded.

There’s no need to copy the ones provided by Adobe.
