have Win XP and am using Photoshop CS and the modifier keys like CTRL+N for a new document wont work
shortcuts like m for marquee tool work and Shift+M works to change it to a Oval marquee but none of the menu commands work

everything works fine in Imageready CS

what is the problem?

Staples is a reputable dealer. As long as you didn’t do anything to get around the activation you should be okay there.

What keyboard do you have?
