It seems that the picture on my screen isn’t matching up with the printer output of my Epson printer. Colors seem to be different. Is this a printer problem or software? I am using Photoshop 6.0 and need to try to get them to match more closely. Please help.

You probably need to calibrate your monitor. The best explanation of color managment is on Ian Lyons’ site , <http://www.computer-darkroom.com/>

John,

Follow michaelcassidy’s link to Lyon’s site. Read it all through several times. THEN have a browser window open as you go through all the different settings in your print set up. I treat that as an on-line help file. Trust me, step by step help was needed and details do matter.
