My Photoshop Can’t Read Pic Files

Originally had a Mac, switched to PC and installed Mac Drive that allowed me to open Mac files.

Worked fine with Photoshop 6.0, but when I upgraded to 7.0 I can no longer open these files (in fact Photoshop doesn’t even see them).

I can see them in the directory, and Picture Viewer and other programs like that have no problems opening them.

Any ideas? Also Photoshop will see Pic files saved by a PC… just not the old ones saved by the Mac.

Using Open As and selecting PICT from the drop down list will allow the file to be recognized and opened.

OK, that works. But why would 6.0 not require me to do that, but 7.0 does? It is still a major hassle since most of my files aren’t Picts.
