32bit targa problem..

I opened targa 32bit file with photoshop cs.
But it loaded by 8bit file.
when i opened by 7.0.1 then background was checkbox that means transparent. but in cs background is black and it’s not transparent it’s solid black. what should i do?

I dont know if its the same for CS, but I had to down load a targa plug in, it can be found in the above directory. But the function i wanted was to have the black mask back, like it used to be, it seems you need your plug in removed, cant help with that im afraid, in fact I dont think I have been any help at all.

Targa is an 8 bit/channel format. It can hold RGB, or RGB+Alpha data.

We changed Targa back to using alpha channels instead of transparency (because too many users didn’t understand the difference).
