When setting up and configuring a RAID, the stripe size used may be specified, with a varying performance impact dependent on the type of access the stripped volume encounters.

So, when configuring a RAID specifically for Photoshop Scratch Disk, what would you recommend be the optimal stripe size, and why?

Thanx.

The impact of proper stripe size on access time and data transfer rates -the hole reason for implementing RAID 0- is significant. So… anybody know the optimal stripe size for a scratch disk RAID?

My thanks in advance.
