There was a rather lovely link to some panotools and I have gone and lost it ….. (the link I mean)

The range I am looking for is to correct or tweak pincushion and barrel distortion

I wonder if anyone has immediate experience & knowledge of these?

Do they work well?

Aerticus

ps – the links would help too 🙁

Yesterday I thought I was indecisive but today I am not so sure

Look no further than:

Yes, they work as well as can be expected as far as interpolation goes. The math is solid, and the results are good. What’s better, PTlens comes as a Photoshop plugin (much faster than the stand-alone program) that uses EXIF information about the lens, and you can also use the (16-bit/channel) PanoTools filters to reduce lateral Chromatic Aberration.

Cheers Bart – I hoped someone would add a link.

I was wondering? S1 IS? Is it a good time to buy or better to wait?

Anyone know?

How very unimpressive. A real tool would fix the edge distortion. By a real tool, I mean a hands-on professional who would do it right in the first place, then make correction using the human brain.

Ok ok ok

I take the point – I will give the manual approach a go too

But PSCS has so many variables that it really is a great challenge to keep up with them

Saying that, yes! I am up for the challenge (manyana)
