Hi All,

Does anyone know of a good (cheap and legal) alternative to PhotoShop? My son is interested in learning about graphics etc., and I don’t think that he would need all the tools that come with PhotoShop at the moment.

What he is looking for a program that will make his images "funkier", something like the "Grunge" tool in PhotoShop.

Thanks in advance,

John

Photoshop Elements is cheap; GIMP is free. Either would probably suit his needs well.

You’ll probably get an email from Art Schwartz (though he may not use that name) advertising a "Perfect Shareware" site that promises you can download Photoshop for $29. It’s a fraud; do a Google search on "Art Schwartz" for more information.
